Meet the St Brides Major CW Primary School Parliament. Congratulations to everyone, IIF had a wonderful day with you.
Have you booked your place at the annual conference this year? If not, please let us know that you are coming as soon as possible. Remember, registered schools automatically get one free place to attend.
Have a look at the Agenda below or on the Events page for what we have in store. Lots of interesting topics throughout the day as well as some fun thrown in too!
We have recruited a team of headteachers, teachers and education professionals to work with IIF to assess schools seeking the accreditation.
Our peer assessors will also be setting up local networks across South Wales for IIF schools and schools working towards the award.
Full details of the team and how to contact them will be published shortly.
Investors in Families will operate as an independent provider, having decided not to renew the collaborative agreement with the Wales Centre for Equity in Education (WCEE).
“While there is a very close fit between the philosophy of IIF and WCEE, IIF is keen to expand into other areas, including the Secure Estate and other sectors. In addition to taking IIF across Wales in the last two years, IIF has adapted the quality mark for the Secure Estate, which will involve working with prisons across the United Kingdom and Europe. There is also a growing demand for IIF in a variety of settings in England.”
Chris Waterman
Executive Director
IIF Wales was launched at a reception at the Royal Hotel in Cardiff on Monday 14th March 2016. Schools, partner organisations and other supporters of IIF gathered to discuss how IIF would work in the future.
